hmmmm I wouldn't bother with them mate ... I was thinking about using them a while ago but not now. Colour matching isn't great, depends what you want done TBH ...

Sarah had some work done, and she was happy but not sure on the Z, depends on your colour as well ...

Chris, been thinking about getting chipsaway to take a look at a few issues on mine for a while, but now you say it like that the worst that can happen is you need to do it again. If you've got any advice on this stuff it would be gratefully received... probably by quite a few of us.

Thanks,

Bart

Tips for doin stonchips 1. If you can get hold of some p2000 wet and dry 2. Borrow an air brush or if you have to buy one 3. If the car is laquered then try to get Nissan laquer 4. TAKE YOUR TIME !! If you are just touching in the wipe area with thinners then blob the paint on so its bubbled and leave to dry as long as you can then get the p2000 and find a small square block of metal if poss and just cut the raised bubble down really carefully then T-cut and polish Jobs a good un. That should get you started. ;)

I got to admit that I have used them when I sratched the front bumper on my MG and they did a "CRISP" job (sorry mate) LOL. No honest the bedford branch did a great job and you couldnt see the difference. They have quoted me £375 to refurbish my wheels. Black spokes and shiney silver metalflake rims. Just turn up with the car and 1 day later its done.

Has anyone used these guys or heard anything about them??

I crashed a Porsche 996 at low speed  and cracked the front bumper, there were also a load of stone chips on it.

I used Chipsaway to fix it up and I have to say they did a blinding job, they charged about £170 and it looked like new. That Porsche paint didn't look easy to match either.

I would definitely use them again.

Mike...

When they did my MG ZT finished in "Anthracite" the bloke who turned up (at my house) to do it said the colour was made up of about 20 odd different colours and he sat in he's van and mixed them up while I watched. V.interesting indeed.

There's a guy with one of their franchises doing regular business outside our building here. Was watching him do some work on a silver 406 coupe a couple of weeks back. Couldn't tell there'd ever been anything wrong afterwards. Still reckon I might give it a crack myself though. :)
