this has been on autotrader for months. Its a 1992 (strange colour). Ad says mileage is RAC verified. It's gone from £18,000 down to £11,995.

Anyone of you guys seen it about and is 3,500 miles too good to be true? If it was a different colour :xxx: I might be talking to my bank manager!

There was a thread about this car a while back, the guy selling

it got allsorts of stick from some of the guys here!

It all became rather abusive iirc.

How can the mileage be rac verified? It's a jap import! :headvswal

If its a good car and your interested why not see if you can knock him down some more then get it sprayed whatever colour you want. But as sideshow says, I dont see how the RAC could verify mileage on a car that has origionally in Japan.

No probs chewie, though it doesn't come as much of a

surprise that he aint sold it yet!

Apparantly it came from a 'special' collection in japan.....?

BIMTA can verify mileages on cars from Japan, they have to keep records of car mileages on vehicles exported after a certian date.

Guess that would explain the colour? I suppose it could have genuine low mileage, but I'm surprised he hasn't sold it in all this time. Something's got to be amiss somewhere. I do have a dream about owning an almost new unmodified Zed, I'm sure there's one somewhere in the world!

No the colour is not special, only in the fact it was sprayed onto convertible zeds only, have seen a couple in this country sprayed that colour and it looks worse in the flesh than on picture a sort of metallic turd:mac1:

 £11k and still standard wheels....:hurl: but i would love a Topless Z

To convert to TT manwell of course.......:D:D

We could do another one in the country, but I would have to charge extra as my one doesn't want a sister :D

:rofl::rofl: Mark..........:tongue:

If you can stand the colour, and want a rag top, but don't wana spend £12k on one, then take a look at this one in Peterboro'

Ok the mileage is higher but the car looks very nice, and it's been there a couple of months now as well. Available at

Wouldn't mind a rag top TT as well Mark :D If I win the lottery I'll contact you!

EDIT** I don't mean you're expensive, just it would be expensive to convert! ;)
