I have removed the front spring and shock absorber and I have found play in the upper link arm on both sides. Is this normal. If not what is the best repair. The manual is not very clear. The play seems to be between the bolt and the bush. Any help please.

Whilst I've got the front suspension in bits is it worth changing any other wearing parts. Thanks.

I have not done it but i know you can change the bushes for poly ones, check out the traders forums or search threads under bushes. HTH

I'd be interested in the outcoming of this, I have changed the top shocker front shocker bushes as well, and the stud centre of the shocker can be moved from side to side as though there is wear/freeplay in the top mount.

FFS I was just back from a run and didnt read the post properly.... :hyper:

But I bought upper link bushes from Courtesy Nissan (Nismo parts) they are a lot cheaper than buying them in the UK from Middlehurst if that helps.

The top bushes are solid so afaik there are no poly ones. Either you replace the top links or you buy the NISMO bush kits which are the same as for Skylines and will cost you about £160 delivered for all 8 bushes. You then have to knock out the old ones and drift in the new ones. I got them from Middlehurst is it at St Helens.
