Its now official tha my motor has only done 342 miles in the last 2 years. The rest of the time its been at garages and bodyshops having thousands of pounds of work done to it and as a result it now has no working speed or reverse lights.(Off course they'll sort em) (another 6 months in ther garages) Not that that matters a great deal at the moment because the f**king thing just no longer works.

I have to travel a zillion miles to any garage that works on them and every garage that do any work does the job their paid for and create 60,000,000 more jobs that didn't need doing before. I feel that because I run my own business and I'm so far away that people don't give a toss and I carn't get on top of the jobs or them. I'm at the stage of taking a petrol can and matches to it.

I love the car but I'm affraid that the shit service you get from garages when they see the Z means that this is the last Z for me. I just need a good auto electrician who can fix the *******. Then maybe I'll keep her. Or shop her in for a Supra, or a nice Lotus Esprite and that way I'll stop spending good money on this pile of crap and soon have enough for a Noble.

I feel sorry for you TT guys. Get an NA as a daily car. At least they look good and don't break down or cost a fortune - apart from fuel of course.

Mines got just under 160k miles on the clock, never been near a garage in the 5 and a half years I've owned it, use it every day - did 270 miles in it yesterday... needs the rear wheels balanced and I must replace the timing belt - if Mike at MJP ever gets round to selling me one.

I'm looking to keeping it on the road for another 5 years by which time it'll be 21 years old and then buying a 350Z, by which time I'll be able to afford one.

...You know it makes sense.

Good luck

Jack
