driving to works yard this morn at 9 am in our corsa traffic cop passed me going the other way noticed him spin round down the road a bit so put me foot down. got stuck at some tlights just before works yard an he pulled up behind me and started to follow then blues n twos so me being me just ignored him as I hadnt done out wrong, just got to outside of yard an thought I'd better pull over. Copper was ok asked if I knew why he pulled me he said because of the window tints on the car can you believe this.

Two armed coppers pulling me over at 9 in the morn on a sunday because my windows have tints any way ended up with a £30 fixed penalty an told to have them removed, so told him nicely what he could do :nelson: then other copper started on bout why is the car still registered at parents address and not my own so told him nicely that I'll register my car where I want too.

 

Coras is a 52 reg had it from new tints where put on when a month old first time I've been pulled for them so there staying

Had a nice little discussion about what they could be doing rather than making there stats up f**kin :xxx: :xxx: :xxx:

It makes for an easy life pulling motorists rather than catching REAL criminals.

You really do talk shite fella, traffic cops are there to do there JOBS...traffic offences, having Tints to dark is a traffic offence for health and safety reasons and beleive it or not a lot of criminals have tints to hide who is in the car not to look nice........:nono:

In all fairness though, I agree with Chris to an extent, they do help prevent people seeing whats in the car and therefore logically reduce the risk of a breakin, however it is true that criminals do use them to conceal their identity. A Corsa though is hardly a drug baron's pimpmobile or a Hitman's choice of vehicle, it's a daily driver, and suprise suprise you were being pulled whilst on your way to work minding your own business. The traffic police in earnest are doing their jobs, it is the people who tell them what to do and set the laws who are at fault. A bit like the people in PC departments, although political correctness has now been blown out of all proportion they still have to make up more BS to justify their existence, which I believe is very similar to Trafficing law agencies !!

if there is a law its the polices duty to apply that law, they don't make the rules but they have to enforce them, unfortuently if you get caught and you know you are doing wrong then you have noone to blame but yourself,

 

I actually believe you are legally obliged to reregister your cars address when you move, the only thing back chatting the police will get you is more bother fromt he police.

i also want tints later, but im not going to slag off a traffic cop for pulling me if i go for darker than legal - they are doing their job!

 

alot of coppers are quite happy to let you go for minor things if your friendly - if you back chat them they will do you for whatever they can!
