Im getting my car chipped anyway, but the delimiter has been acting up a while now (steering going heavy, hicas light coming on), but how do i remove the delimiter. Where is it located (it has a small toggle switch on the side of aircon cluster which makes the needle sweep in kph) , and how do i remove it. Any help, please, Thanks.

the delimiter is normally put behind the inst panel cowling its a small black box about the size of small mobile phone i have never seen the switch mod the guymust have driven it abroad as well as uk so kept the option its probably a bad connection on the switch that is dissconecting the speed convertor , and giving you the problems

try looking there first . if not a new delimiter convertor can be had from

most of the traders on the forum

I had this on mine the controller (below) wired into ECU harness. The clocks have no jump leads on the back and were converted to MPH/KMH properly.

For sale BTW.. :D

We are kph over here in Ireland anyway, I just want it all removed, thanks Splatt

Your limiter should be at ~180kph, for cars imported to the UK we would normally convert that to 180mph. Unless I've lost my mind completely the limitation is only in the ECU, so it should be removed when it's chipped.

What you will then need is some 300kph dials !
