how does the z32 compare to an Audi Quattro Turbo. My dad had the Audi when I was a wee nipper and I always remember it being a sorted car.

 

Anyone have any stats on 0 to 60, handling etc

But im sure zed would have it on motorway and audi on rally circuit

 

I believe they audi was 6.7 to 60? could be wrong

it was just the normal one, like the GT but not this was back in 85, it was a C reg and had the flared arches cos it was a turbo. it was winning some rally at the time. I remember that there was a shorter one but this was the standard one. hope this makes sense or am i just rambling.

Really a Z can't compete with a Quattro, you can throw these babies around corner's at 90mph and you'll only be doing 40mph in the Z. I driven both, but couldn't afford the quattro One day I will own both, especially like the Pikes Peak version of the quattro.

hehehe cheers Warren, like the first one but i don't think it was that fast, prob like you say 6.7 for the road going version. so if i got one now the z32 would beat it, both in standard form.

Bring a quatro on the motorway though and they are no competition at all.

Quattro was and still is an awesome car. Just look at how much a good one goes for.

Quattro Turbo is Awesome (not the mickey mouse ones the full blown turbo)

Ironically as the original post was comparing them to Zeds, the brakes on Coupe Quattro Turbos are shite too!

Used to own a 84 UR Quattro Turbo, brilliant car, could actually pull 1G whilst cornering. 0-60 about 6.5, yes brakes were shite. Z would be faster and RWD is sooooo much fun!!!!

 

PS Audi qoute at time for rear silencer 660 +VAT and u think we pay a lot!
