Are led rear lights any good and where do you get them?

I think that the led lights on modern cars look smart but was wondering if you could get them for the Z but not the round style, strip lights to replace the standard fitting rear lights??? I think that would look the *****cks. Anybody know where or if you can get them.

I was thinking of making these up myself using stock housing's good ones of course..

If you have a basic knowlege of electronic's its not very hard to do!!

I have more than basic knowlege so it will be easy to make up the circuit and component's the more challenging part will be modifying the housing's to take them... :D

I think the round lights look good however like zmaster said they are easy peasy to knock up yourself, but you must have a good housing. ie the stock light pannel. There are loads of different bulb ratings + with the use of a voltage drop switch on you break peddle you can get the LED's to illuminate dimmer for Tail lights and glow full brightness as you break.

Stil like the round ones best though

$1400/pair - Clear Tail Light w/ Full High-Intensity LED Tail Light "Conversion"

and they may require your old units for conversion for 2-3 months

Am I right in guessing the 2 pot led use 1 single pannel across the back of the car, but the 3 pot led use 2 seperate panels that bolt in where the existing lights are.
