I had a silver Ford Escort 1.3 Ghia, that was great as a student.

My first car was an MG Metro Turbo. Only had a 1.3 litre engine, but really moved...... well it did until the turbo blew up !! :nono:

My first car was a 1987 Toyota Supra 3.0i in black, followed by a 1990 Toyota Supra 3.0i turbo.

I must have a thing about 3.0 Jap cars :hyper:

Seat Ibiza the old porsche system engine (so say lmgdfao) was nearly new when I bought it!

 

My taste in modding was not so good, three spokes (NOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo) , the zorst looked on tho not too ott, and window tints, was met blue and looked ok-ish at the time.

 

Didn't go too bad for a 1.5.

Had a company Maestro 1.8 van for my first 2 years on the road then changed jobs and bought my first car - a silver 1.3 Golf for a grand.

Fitted a new zorst and 4 new tyres then wrote it off a week later, taking a brand new Saab 900 Turbo Convertible with it costing about £26K back in '92 :o LOL

 

Replaced it with a stunning Renault 11...

Got pushed into passing me car test by girlfriend cos her hair got messed up

having to wear a crash hat on me bikes so i got a RX7.

Mine was the old faithful MK1 Escort, fantastic car, i'd buy another tomorrow if I could find one.

I didn't have a 17 but I remember one in the same street as me with a full length Electric folding sunroof.

 

My first car was a green Vauxhall Viva which I kept for 3 years. After that I bought a white Triumph stag. Five Zeds and God knows how many other cars later, I still have that same Stag 19 years on.

 

Thats the one.....it also had a hard top that went over the top, great car

A-reg Metro 1.0 L in dark brown. (points closed in damp weather knocking 20mph of top end and made it run terrible - handled well though!)

I actually saw an L reg one of these today in met green, I thought it must be an enthusiast's car but to my surprise it was being driven by an old dear, maybe she owned it from new?

A pal of mines 1st car was a tuned up Vauxhall Firenza- A very quick car, it used to do wheelys!

Ford Pubic (Corsair!) 2000E (Looks like a boat!) Simple V4 but frightenly fast (for 1978!)
