BLADE BLADE BLADE BLADE

anyway, unless you join http://www.bikerclub.co.uk

im not telling you which to get....

crap, i already told ya didnt i ??? still a cool site though

blade is a good bike, the new Suzuki K5 is getting some awesome reviews though, and one guy from above site, has tested both today, he came up with greater confidence in the K5, but more comfort on blade

GSXR.........Gixxer 1000 2005 tho :bow::bow: keep ya piston slapping Blades......:rofl:

Depends what year each one is. That probably makes more difference than the difference between the actual models.

I was lucky enough to ride the K1, K3 and K5 GSXR1000s today.

The K5 is amazing but you can get a new K3 (or K4) for about £2500 less than a new K5 and for that sort of price difference, I'd have a K3 or 4.

And if a 2004 R6 isn't powerful enough for you then

They all scare the sh1te out of me.

The way you break things I would say go for one of these:D;)

he will just get the pistons diff etc changed

ZX10R

nothing else comes close IMHO :D

theres only 1 master of the road and thats the zx10r hands down more powerfull than all its competitors i know ive ridden them.180bhp and it weighs the same as my zx6rr and is shorter to....ANIMAL

Go for one of these. Forget the race replicas. Get an all rounder. They ain't much slower on acceleration and they don't handle too bad either.

You can have mine for £2500.

Ny personal favourite is the '98 blade, but having had expoerience of your capabilities in other fields of endeavour.........I'm with Mac1 :)

if i were you karl id go for the chopper. big bars., you could change the gear shift for short shift, you now the 3 auto gears on the chopper are good but with short shift youl leave them for dust, also you wouldnt need to remove abs , just get better trainers for extra breaking ,

ViniBoy........:rofl: got to hand it to ya no predudice in your way of thinking.

Cheers mate , difference is i might actually get to ride the bike b4 it breaks !! Never had a prob with the R6 and was 100 % reliable just bit under powered for me. The blade is certainly appealing but was looking to get a 02-03 plate at the oldest , so is there any reason the 98 is preffered over say the 04 model ??

The Duke defo. In a class of its own.Rode jap bikes for years GSXRs EXUPs etc even built a Harris Magnum(that was fun) but after owning a duke swore would always get another V-twin if i got another bike.

I just like the size of the '98, less power, less torque than the new ones (of any make probably) but have ridden most of the new bikes on the market and would still have that one

Me too !

Love the Magnum, but would go for the Duke now.

Well it was worth a try?

If its got to be a plastic missile then I go along with the new ZX10. I used to have the old one years back and that was without fear of contridiction a lovely bike. Faster than anything else in it's time and Kawasaki just seem to carry a bit of class with the name. (IMO).

But not ITALIAN FGS. Not unless you get breakdown cover.................

Depends on what you want to do with it -track days comfort,Blade -safe dependable R1-manic balls out,ZX10 -on the road CBR 6!! :D
