Im going to fill up at our tesco branch tonight which has the 99ron fuel :hyper:

Are their any adjustments that need to be made to run this or any tweeks I can do to get a bit more oomphh from it?

No adjustment or tweaks "needed", but you could get the car remapped to make better use of the high octane rating, but then you would need to ensure that you always used that fuel, but I dont think a remap would benfit too much if its already mapped for 98 Ron fuel.

You could probably get a fraction more advance or a hint more boost without det (if the fuel is genuinely 99ron), but not much difference overall I wouldn't have thought.

I forget which map you have at the moment, but the better fuel would probably benefit the Central20 or MINES chips.

Andy, Why do you say that the ron 99 fuel will be better in the central 20 and mines chip, just curios as i have the central 20 ?

Ok...thanks Andy....when you say"a fraction more advance "....do you mean goto 14BTDC or should i go 16BTDC...I can never remember which way round it is :smash:

Im waiting to get my o2 sensor replaced and de-cats fitted before I fit the chip to make sure im fuelling correctly.

Am i correct in thinking the Central20 chip leans the fuel out?

I meant compared to the stock or JWT as the Central20 and MINES are a bit more 'adventurous' in their fuel and ignition timing maps.
