Dont worry mate, I was there 2 months ago.

Although, take out your gearbox and seats, then remove your plenum and ECU wiring loom and then your as far stripped as I was!

Very scary but she's almost back together now! ;)

Hmmmmmmm, Spaghetti bolognese anyone!! LOL

Yep on Saturday I was really going to get the thing nailed, but after half an hour of brain panic as to what I should do next (not recomended attempting after heavy night before) I decided to have the weekend off instead.

Its a pain in the asse just to get the engine loom through, but Dave junior is doing most of the work I just hinder. Believe it or not though she fired up first time. I've had weeks of peeing about with replacing bit after bit of the loom and every time we've solved one problem, because the loom was that brittle we created another. So the bullet was bitten and new loom worked first turn of the key.

Carn't believe it. Went down there this morning to put heater matrix in before I start to put it Back together. Gess what?

Dave at dp thought he'd help out and start putting it back together :headvswal . So today I've had to strip it back down so I can put the heater matrix in tomorrow. :smash: :smash:

Just the glove box, lower side pannels in footwells, ECU cover board, pannel under steering wheel and steering wheel housing + Radio and bits to go back. Quite far. I've have to promise to rebuild it myself or he;ll commit Hari Kari.

lol, nightmare, its bad enough having to do i once although I suppose the benefit is, if you ever need to take it apart again (Heaven forbid!) then you should have a better understanding of how it all goes back together.

I had only ever done mine once so it was tricky putting i all back together.

Its amazing how most screws fit into most holes!! :D

Back together for second time. You are dead right about the screws. I just searched round Daves garage and collected all screws nuts and bolts that looked the same as the basic three that hold everything together. So everything is in its place and screwed in properly.

I just godam hate sqeeks in cars. Dave will be wondering how that customers Supra and Subaru were held together with only 4 self tappers and 3 10mm bolts  :D

Blimey mate you've been busy! :D Interesting to see that photo...nice clear view of what hiding behind the dash. Good to know before I start pulling it apart myself! ;)

Leigh.

Me and Spinksy finally got my plenum built back up this weekend for the first time.

That's sure as hell gonna make it easier when I start the engine work and need to take it to bits again!

It's just finding the time, I only ever get the weekends to work on it and then thats rushed! :(
