Just got back from York dragway , never been before and i can throughly recommend it.
10 to get in, 20 to race so a bit more than the pod if i remember right, but it was woth it for the total lack of RWYB.
We had 8 or 9 runs in all, think we'd had 45 by lunch time and youre lucky if you can get that many in a whole day at the pod/
The place itself is not as good as the pod, the run off and return roads are pretty rough, and there are not time display lights showing the run times, however there is a commentator type geezer who gives the results at the end of every race over the tannoy.
There was other stuff on aswell, proper drag competitions so the RWYB was slotted in around this but we still got plenty of runs in.
All in all a top day and I met a fellow 300zx.co.uk member ( gaz300zx) pleasure to meet you bud wjo was I might ad the ONLY 300zx there.
Good range of cars there from Skylines to Yank metal to a superb celica gt4 ( ;) )to a clio with an audi tt engine in it.
Would highly recommend it as an alternative to the pod.
