No signs of any intruders for 3Months now....Thumbs up.

Latest update available now....version 1.0.3

Yup, agreed with BM :D

Yep, been using it for about a year. It's great - especially the mouse gestures, tabbed browsing and easy to install plug-ins and extensions/themes :)

It's fantastic. Only problem is, if it gets too popular it will start getting attacked the same as IE

I beEn using ti fdor awhile njow its real god nio o complaints here

yeah been using it for ages, i love the tabbed browsing, and the great extensions available like adblock, flashgot, tabbrowser preferences, but theres no way its faster than IE, its much slower even with tweaks applied, i wouldnt change though. And the hacking attempts have allready hit, the popup blocker has been worked around for a while now, get loads of popups now :(

Mouse gestures are great. Get the "All-in-one Gestures" extension and have a play (https://addons.update.mozilla.org/extensions/?application=firefox). Basically, you can navigate around Firefox by holding down the right mouse button and moving in a direction eg. back = RMB + mouse move left, forward = RMB + mouse move right, RMB + up left/right to go to the previous/next tab on the tab bar, etc. Lots of options and user-definable things. Very good for preventing R.S.I. and very easy to use after a short time.

"Autocopy" is great too. You can just highlight text and it goes to the clipboard without you having to do anything else to copy it there.

"Drag to tab" lets you select text (eg. a URL) and drag it to the tab bar to open it in a new window.

You can also bookmark a set of pages as a default homepage eg. every time I open Firefox, 3 sites that I visit regularly are opened in separate tabs so I don't have to open them individually.

I don't like the update path, is it automatic yet? I find i tell people of security problems in firefox that are months old and they havnt patched them

I use IE, never have any problems whatsoever, I've never had a virus or a trojan on my PC, and i've used google toolbar to block popups for years

firefox ideas arn't new, they have been in opera for years, unfortuently you have to pay for opera for the non adware version, it is a nice browser though.

I use firefox occasionaly, I just hate the way it renders tables with borders, makes it look like the old mosaic brower.

Are trojans not more to do with your isp? im on F2s and hardly ever get a trojan attack but my mum's on tiscali with the same software setup and gets loads of attacks.

Great thanks....i'll have a play around :smash:

Well, I don't care whether or not Firefox is faster than IE or not. What I do know is that it's better and more secure. I don't get spyware and other filth any more from goodness knows where. I've been using FF since version 0.4 came out. Kicks butt as far as I'm concerned.

yep used since 0.8 and never looked back. I find it quicker and secure and also love the plugins - the developer toolbar is great :D
