Small screen monitor advice

I'm on the hunt for a couple of small screens for use in the Zed, unfortunately it's not something I know anything about! :o ;) Does anyone have any suggestions on units I should go for or where I should be looking for some? I'm after two screens, between 10"-12", VGA, with a minimum of 640 x 480 resolution, and a decent brightness level (400 nits +). If it's got a stand it needs to be removable. Touchscreen would be great but TBH it may be too expensive! Any suggestions would really be appreciated! :D

Cheers,

Leigh.

Check out http://linitx.com/ for a UK supplier of In-car Computer equipment including screens.

Also US company : http://www.digitalww.com

Look out for brand mines like Lilliput and Xarnarc/Gain. Both product 400 nits VGA Screens (and touchscreen), although most will tell you that the Xarnac/gain has better clarity.

btw - 10-12" is pretty big for a in-car screen. Most are around 7.5" where are you mounting them ?

Thanks for the links :) I've been pointed in the direction of the Xenarc/Lilliput screens by a few guys on a car pc forum, specifically this model:http://www.mp3car.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=25&products_id=54

It's suits my purposes but it is a little more expensive than I'd hoped and although touchscreens are great, they're not a necessity for me.

Size is not an issue as I'm going to remodel the dash mate.
