Found a great set of alloys but the only drawback is they're chrome which wasn't originally what I had in mind for the Zed. Does anyone know if an alloy wheel refurbisher would be able to strip off the chrome and refinish them in silver/polished silver or even the more subtle smoked chrome etc...? Any info would be appreciated!

Sounds very interesting mate! Lap-Tab is only about 20 mins away from me as well which could be handy. If you happen to speak to him would you mind asking if it's something that could be done? ;)
