Hi all,

I've (well Nick from http://www.nliconsultants.co.uk has ;) ) revamped my site a little, and put a couple of things in like a paypal payment link and improved gallery.

The site is http://www.groundingkits.co.uk ;)

If you find any dead links or anything can you let me know. And if anyone has any good pictures of their kits fitted could I pinch them for the site please, or any ideas for the site

Cheers

Pete

Nice revamp :)

What about the link for "colours" from the "PRODUCTS" tab under the "buynow" tab on 300zx selection...has a hand over the symbol but no selection or link???

Might not meant to do anything but i thought on old site you get to see the different colours on offer

It should take you down to the pictures of the colour at the bottom, doesn't it work for you? All the 'colours' links seem ok my end.

How wierd, its fine here, I'll try from a different pc tomorrow. Try hitting F5 to refresh from the server, see if that works. Also, I was having issues with old stuff appearing all the time, until I deleted all my offline content.

Hang on - you two aren't trying to click the picture of the colours at the bottom are you?

To buy a kit, you click on "buy now" ;):D Then colour selection is on the form it takes you to.

Prehaps it was summin to do with caches or cookies...either way its sorted.

Allrighty Pete,

When you fill in the form and click submit to order the product in question and you leave out a manadtory field. You get the typical Javascript popup window alerting you of this fact but it is in German!! not English.

Are you expecting many German end users mate?

Just thought I would poimt this out to you, especially as it's at the POS.

Take it easy fella.

Chris

Also, if you are using Mozilla Firefox mine is ver 6.0 .200 running under winxp pro the internal page links to the colours don't work and it allows you to submit the form regardless of filling out any fields.

I'll take a look at it if you wan't mate, just thought I would point this out for you.

Chris P

I have had a look. The javascript won't work with Mozilla so that explains that. Also the form validation script does output the various error messages in German.

PS .. Don't mention the war.

Cheers Chris, this tinternet thing is bloody complicated isn't it, why everyone doesn't use explorer is beyond me lol :D

Yeah the German thing :wack: ... we looked at that and couldn't find anything editable that tells it to be in German, do you think it's a message within Lycos' software? V annoying isn't it.

Hi mate .. The German text is in the source code bud, in the Javascript. All you have to do is to change the text for the appropriate fields. Better still get one that works in all browsers. If you wan't to send me ftp details etc I will gladly take a look for you.

All the best mate

Chris

I would post the script here but quite sensibly it won't allow me.

Will email you the script mate.
