Hi guys

Iv been after a Carbon Fibre spoiler for the Zed which is a bit different than the normal stuff that is available out there and i did have one in my mind which was done by Wings West but they have ceased trading and they are no longer available from what iv heard (pic below)

Iv been looking for a while now and cant seem to come up with anything decent and was wondering if any of you guys have any sites or have seen anything worthwhile mentioning that may look gorgeous on the Zed

Any sites or company's that you may think help please

Seen a few APR ones but cant find them or i dont like the ones i do

Cheers

I don't know if you've seen all these already but here's the APR range:

The UK distributor is Impossible Performance http://www.impossible-performance.cwc.net/

TBH, as far as Carbon Wings go, you can't get much better than APR. Their wings actually seem to take into account aerodynamic factors rather than just being for "aesthetic" purposes. If I was going to go down this route I'd plum for APR myself.

APR do make some top quality wings but im looking for both aesthetic and performance purposes possibly more to aesthetic quality's

I only like the one wing from APR but the struts are to small and low

Wanna make sure im buying the right wing for the look of the car

Cheers

Which one do you like then?

Personally I'd go for this one if I was going to do it at all (GTC 300).

And if you're looking for big struts, they don't get much bigger than this! :D

Hope you find one that's right for you mate.

Friday

you found a pic of a 350 with the look that i'm after, but mine will be black and red. :hyper:

That does look nice but im having difficulty imagining that spoiler on a wide arch zed with a tailgate tub and those struts would look to big on a Zed personally but it does look nice

I personally like the design of this wing but these darn struts are way to small

dont know what to do????

There must be other carbon spoilers out there

dont wanna buy something and regret it later

Cheers

Just a thought but you could always buy the wing you want and make the struts up or have them made up...

It's what I did with my last car. I found the spoiler I wanted (in a scrappy of all places!) and basically set to work on an aluminium block and cut out the shapes of the struts from a template I designed. Found out after I'd finished that I should have gone for an aluminium/zinc compound instead of plain aluminium as it's less "honeycombed" and doesn't leave the odd pin prick hole after finishing. But they still looked good, if a little on the shiny bling side when they were polished up! ;)

I might do that but i wanna find out the size of this wing to make sure that it will look big enough to complement the size of the Zed and get someone to make me polished struts

If not then the search continues

Anybody else got any sites

Cheers again for that Leigh
