Hoses, Hoses, Hoses

To any of you out there who have experience of engine-outs.

 

Im about to have my engine swapped and at the same time im going to replace nearly all of the under bonnet hoses, except for hard pipes, rad hoses and fuel lines (I'll be going to Smithy for them).

 

Does anyone know the diameter of all those myraid of hoses that seem to surround my engine (EGR, vac hoses etc.)? They all look pretty close to 10mm and seem similar in size, but I need to know exactly so I can buy a length of each size and give them to the engine swap people.

 

Btw. I know I'm going to need high temp/vacuum capable stuff.

    Smithy will supply you with silicone in suitable sizes for most of the vaccum stuff. MOst of the pipes are in the 4,6,8mm range

    You can get rid of an awful lot of them too. Do a quick search, you can remove AIV, EGR, PRVR + operational solenoids.
