i've fooked mi lappy up somehow??

the screen size is at 3/4 and i tried all the setting and still its too small its a tosh tecra :headvswal 8100 I know its a cheap one but its for my conzult and cliffnet wizard. its running win 2000 .

its as if the screen is actually a smaller screen, the cursor won't go any further than the border, the rest is black

anyone any clue??

I take it you tried upping the res. if not - go into its bios and enable pan to full screen. (or something like that).

Press ESC key as you boot, then press F1 to enter setup when prompted...

Scroll down and there is somethign that says "STRETCH FULL SCREEN" you need to enable that,

 

Or increase the Resolution, make sure the desktop size is the same as the display dise, I think theres an option for that in the screen res properties

cheer guys, i formatted it and put xp pro on and still same , but then the resolution enabled me to correct it, now its ok

has anybody got a 128 med ram chip going cheap for the tosh tecra 8100??
