was on my way to work the other mornin stickin to the 30 limit (speed cameras) when some knob in a van gets right up my arse flashin his lights with a few hand gestures, of course this only encouraged me to go that little bit slower :) the guy turned off down a little rat run (to get in front of me or so i thought) by this time i was seein red and thought id put the foot down to get in front again to wind him up some more :) floored her and then i saw something over my shoulder yes it was the back end whipped the wheel the other way and she came back perfectly scary when the central reservation came a bit too close. got to the end of the rat run and saw him turnin off into a yard :( anyway my question i know the back end of the beast is a bit twitcy but how sideways can u go ?

How does about 30 degrees at 70mph on a wet motorway sound? Is that scary enough.

yep that would scare the hell outta me !

I can go that sideways i face the other way!!!

yup, scared me enough too!

Should have expected it really, got it TOOO sideways going up the slip road of same moterway racing a sorted Seat Leon...... stopped him getting past me though

(and before anyone says a Leon shouldnt have got past a ZX, it was very wet, very raining, and I wasnt expecting him to go for it going onto the slip road!)

I can go that sideways i face the other way!!!

I can vouch for that.

theres a vid of me getting sideways out of gingers street had i given it any more juice on that day i would have been facing the other way as it was i let off and carried on

I once got about 45 degrees without realizing. A van pulled out on me and I had to go round him but I didn't exept the back up to be so loose. Luckily it was when I had the new 275's on the back and as soon as I let go, it snapped back nicely.

Must've looked good from behind though!

iv never intentionally put th back end out and evn when it goes i never encourage it lol! have to be very careful when overtaking in the wet cos your booting it and turning one way and then another

Must admit, I didn't intend to do it as I had just forked out £1700 on wheels and tyres. The last thing I wanted was to leave 20 quids worth of rubber behind. Was fun though!

When I first had her, she had Continental 245's on the back, and they would fishtale like a bitch, and that was when standard!

Hello chaps, long time no speak...

I had a do on prodrive's skidpan in me yellow peril, and there was one point I was sat looking at the briefing room still travelling along the pan in the direction I should be...

... the briefing room is at RIGHT ANGLES to the length of the pan... :D

My first attempt to drift saw me spin my old man's car and go backwards through a wall - not insured either. Dad not happy, bloke with wall not happy, police not happy. :nono:

Have a mate who can drive his old 5 series BWM round and round a small roundabout totaly sideways. He gets bikes sideways coming out of corners too.
