How is everyone?

 

Not looked here since November last year, oops.. No reason inparticular, just been really busy (but still effin' broke!) with work and whatnot.

 

The Z is still parked up in the garage looking sorry for itself :( Wasn't missing it too much until I popped back here today, saw Luke's post about his 6 guage top-dash pod and now I really want my car to be running, taxed and insured again.

 

Argh.

I know how you feel matey, have just managed to get the MR-2 back on the road so it's completely legal deagle.

 

Tyres x 3 = 135 squid rear and 113 squids fronts

MOT = 48 squids and a tenner to the guy for opening up the garage over the Easter weekend on the Saturday afternoon. ;)

Insurance = 527 squids fully comp

Tax = 98 squids I think...what an absolute rip!!! :mad:

Full tank of fuel = 35 squids

 

But it feels good to have one outta two back, especially now the summer is coming and I'm using the MR for work aswell! 'ave it!!

Weird - it's set to accept PMs.. Maybe it was because I changed the email addy on my profile and it took me a while to realise I had to click the 'confirm' link in the confirmation email (wondered why I couldn't access any forums, lol).. Fancy trying it again?

 

Expensive isn't it, running a car.. The '2 is due it's first MOT on the 22nd - only I just had to rush around and book it in for tomorrow, I'm off contracting in Sheffield from the 11th for 2-3 weeks.. Still, it's money, and they're coughing for the hotel bill ;)

 

I need to sort an IVA out though, or something, to handle my debts - haven't earnt very much this last year (well, bugger all really - £6500 in 12 months, pre tax) so ended up living off the cards.. Now the repayments are huge and.. well you know the score...

Lol ;) Cheers m8. Not quite kidnapped, felt like it at times.. :D Did end up spending two weeks in Norway, if that counts ;) (Work, not pleasure)

 

Tim - things are starting to pick up now, getting more referrals from contacts and suchlike for work, which is good.. so hopefully I'll be able to eek out a living that I can actually live off ;) Still, need to get an IVA sorted and freeze my debts really (so no more credit for me), otherwise I need to make about £2400 a month just to clear my bills, oops..
