As two players with such a high profile for both good and bad reasons what should be done with them? I mean if fighting on a pitch infront of 50,000 is not bad enough he has to fight with his own team mate, what a pair of plonkers

Watching match of the day last night it looked like Bowyer fliped because Dyer would not pass him the ball. :xxx:

i tell you what Lee bowyer has been fines 6 weeks wages!!

I hear you all say thats f*ck all for a footballer but we all live to our means and if i was fined 6 weeks of my wages i would be in sh1t creek without a paddle!! he's on about £30k a week so thats £180000 and i dont car how much you earn thats alot of dosh to lose...saying that if it was any other job he would have got the sack so why didnt he?

And why i am on a rant about footy i feel for Rio Ferdinand!! i was reading last week that about half a dozen players from AC Milan refused to take a drugs test!! not forget!! Refused and what punishment did they get??? totally nothing and Rio yes forgets to take it and tries to take it later and gets a 8 month ban......wheres the justice in that.

Sorry i'm in one of them moods today so bring it on :smash:

Kirbz

i hear it endlessly about footballers etc being overpayed, off course they are BUT at the end of the day its supporters who pay mostly pay their wages, and as long as they are tipping up every week, then they can't be that bothered, ie look at newcastle their season ticket sales are massive, so if the geordies were that bothered about overpaid players they would vote with their feet, and mr toughie rugby player johnny wilkinson on the back of a few kicks in the world cup is a millionaire, and has played HOW MANY games since???

agreed ferdinands sentence was harsh m8, but i for one agree with it

break the rules and suffer the consequences, and its always been a known fact our fa is stricter than any, same way the athletes in this country know

they take drugs and get caught theyre finished, whereas other countrys

are piss poor (no pun lol) in controlling drug abuse

i honestly think the guys behind the scenes at utd and ferguson didnt do ferdinand any favours, they made ferdinand look a dozy twat and then backed the fa into a corner by trying his case in the papers, but as you say

fifa SHOULD make the same bans apply world wide

and while were on the soap box lol, sky make me laugh they sack rodney marsh for a bad taste joke, yet month after month they employ george best

a convicted drink driver, an alchohol abuser, a wife abuser, and lastly gets given another crack at life, because someone lost thiers and STILL drinks

and while we're at it little people also piss me off, why should they always be the last to know when it rains

The clubs generally pay for the police presence at matches....

...except for Wigan... :D
