Had the day from hell. Sitting here with everyone gone to bed and I can't sleep from all the worry. Sorry to post like this, I'm just writing things down to try and feel better. Without going into details, found out today that someone who used to work for us is accusing my dad of "improper" behaviour towards her. TOTAL bullsh1t and we've heard she's doing it to get her own back on us for giving her a disciplinary warning. My folks are the kindest most honest, good people you're ever likely to meet and it's killing me to see them being put through this sh1t. As there's not an ounce of truth in it we know that if it went any further it would be laughed out of court but it's the thought of having to go through it all...They're in their late 60's now and my dad's not a well man and this has totally shaken them both. We've been told second hand she's gone to the police but we don't know if this is more lies...I guess we just have to wait to see if we get a phone call. I feel so sick with frustration that I can't do anything, only reassure them that everything will be ok. How can people be so fVckin cruel??

Not nice mate, all you can do is re-assure them and wait. But dont over worry, rumours are usually just that. hope it all goes ok.

it's harder to understand when someones trying to shit on your parents,

i'm one of those who doesn't get stressed over anything, losing sleep or worrying doesn't cure a problem, though i must admit i would be "pretty" annoyed if someone had tried something similar on my mum and dad:(

this happened to a mate of mine lately, it was his step-daughter,

accused him of 'improper behaviour', in the end, the girls real father

stood up in court & defended the guy! His exact words were '' my daughter

is a liar & a thief!'' the case was thrown out of court eventually,

but my mate still didn't see his real kids for near on 2 yrs because of it.

i should mention

 

last year i went through a similar situation with an employee who was stealing.

I sacked the guy but he tried to come back at me with letters about unfair dismissal, bullying, and all the rest.

 

 

Myself and family went through a very unpleasent two months with threatening and upsetting letters.

 

When push came to shove, he dissappeared without a trace and i learned then about his history.

 

My Father never supported me on this, kept telling me i was wrong and should call him and sort it out :mad:

 

Thats why i think your very lucky in having a Close relationship with your dad.

Unfortunatley it's the state of society today where no-one can accept responsibility for their own failures and seek to blame innocent others just to get compensation.

 

Her case doesn't sound too strong and I'm sure the police won't get involved as it's a civil matter.

i no what you guys are going through, i lashed out with sumone like that a while ago at work and lost my job, but she's a women so i suppose you carnt do that. hope it all goes well, see if you can get her other employers on your side so if it does go to court she doesnt have a leg to stand on, then counter sue the bitch straight away she wont exspect it.....

Thought I'd update this thread as recently had some very good news. The case was thrown out, my dad completely exonerated and the police are pursuing her for wasting their time etc. etc.

 

This past 6 months has been hell for our family. It felt like we had the proverbial sword of Damocles permanently hanging over our heads and there wasn't a damn thing we could do about it. It's had a bad effect on my dads health but at least this is finally over. After all her lies and what she and her evil family put us through I really want to see her pay for what she's done...legal retribution just isn't harsh enough IMO.

friday i know what your going through unfortunately my case has not been thrown out of court i have to appear in crown court on the 14th of this month and some bullchit claims made by my ex wife and her daughter if it goes wrong im looking at 4 years prison minimum
