Have been looking into getting this and search showed that there was a Group Buy about 1 1/2 years ago, then it looked like another one was going to be arranged and it all fell through or never took off? Thought id gauge interest to see if people are still looking for this and perhaps we could try to get the group buy up and running again :hyper:

is launch control only for auto's??

as far as im aware no :D

http://www.racelogic.co.uk/traction/

As the Blitz seller i can arrange a GB if required or i have a system with Launch i may sell :)

RL want a minimum of 10 units to discount so i doubt we would get that many :(

GB price would be around £600

With :)

so whats adavntage of launch control on a manual , what will it do exactly ??

say for example you go down the dragstrip you can program the launch control with differant options and it will control the rear wheels so the bitch dont go sideways, and be able to get all the power down without loosing as much traction.

ok. that sound like a very good deal to me  , get this done chris, i'll been in. :hyper:

Launch control is really only for Manuals.

It gives you a 2nd rev limiter so you can hold the accelerator to the floor and it will bounce off a set limit (set by you) which gets the turbos spooling up. When the car starts moving the limiter is removed, and the amount of slip allowed by the traction control is dynamic untill you get up to speed to give you the best possible pull off.

IS it so long since the last group buy??? Flamin hell, mines still in the box in the bottom of the wardrobe waiting to be fitted!!!! Ooops!

I pretend to work, they pretend to pay me!

ZTech will very shortly be an authorised fitter for racelogic so if you do a group buy Chris we should be able to set up a group discount for fitting :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

if i wanted traction control id buy a modern car LOL. One of the big reason i like older cars as its all about driver skill with little or NO computer helping out. Even the zed has too many gadgets for my liking

But the great thing about the Racelogic system is that its adjustable while your drive, you can alter it to suit your driving style/mood and road conditions...something that most (possibly even all?) Modern car traction control systems do not have.

exactly, you cant compare RLTC to a modern cars OEM TC, theres just so much you can set up on the racelogic system.

RLTC was designed for the track!
