Hi all,

My car goes into the body shop soon and im in 2 minds either to keep my door handles or have them flushed and have poppers on them instead, so when i push a button on my alarm key my door popes open.

 

anyone got any ideas pls.

I've seen the other side of this one.

 

Yeah smoothed out looks kool, but I'm a fireman and I've had experience of this one in an RTA. Worsed case, if u stack it and we can't get in, it'll be a crowbar or a pair of hydraulic spreaders to open it up!!:eek:

I know I may sound a bit anal, and smoothed out does look the nuts, but just something to think about before you do it.

but if i prang it that bad then i dont think a big set of scissors wud make a difference to my mood i would be in that day lol, also when i tell my insurance company about this stuff, if i did prang it would they pay out to have it all done again or give me the value of what i have done, coz i spoke to my mate who has a supra and his insurancs will do that, sumone came out to value it with all the mods and spray job, added it all up and told him if he pranged it, he would get full payout if not able to fix, and if they can fix it, it will be as before he pranged it...............

 

im with tesco at the mo so i will have to wait till the winter b4 i change.

if the battery goes flat , you can always get in through the boot lol

The steup with lambo doors and solenoids to pop the doors is the setup that Paul @ Knightsbridge Peformance has, its where I got my shiny plenum from.

 

His system works a treat although the hinges are a bit weak to deal with the door strength but he assures me the new kit will have a stronger strut.

 

A mod for the future without doubt..... :)
