its ok chris the money missing was cash the wallet was handed in almost immediatly cards included £80 ffs i could of bought a mod for the z,not a big one though LOL

my mate picked up a wallet at a garage and decided it was best not to hand it in there as he didnt trust the attendance, so took it to the cop shop, handed it in with all the cash still in and was arrested for theft. Bloody stupid world.

Wouldnt b the first time cards have been duplicated mate, or even the details just lifted, espesially if you had anything with your address in your wallet, best to let the police know and get a crime number, also et your card issuers know, you cud find yourself with BIG card bills and bad credit for years if you dont :cry:

Gutting, I did the same trick once, 2 days later a Vicar had handed it in to the local Police station. Great I thought but when I drove 125 miles to the station, there were no credit cards, no cash and half my driving licence was missing. The Tesco clubcard was okay though :rolleyes: Got a load of sh1t of the coppers too for having a firearms receipt which was for a plastic gun :rolleyes: The copper originally told me they had recovered everything just to get me there for the Spanish inquisition :xxx:

Maybe a long shot but most garages got cctv, could see who handed it in or who unloaded the 80 quid, dunno but might be an idea to report it to the police???

I found a wallet in a petrol station near me last summer, i looked to see if there was an address in it to return it, there were about seven credit cards and £70 in cash, also in the zip compartment was a list of the card names and their pin numbers! :nono:

I found a number and rang it, his wife answered and said he was at work and that she would get him to ring me. He rang and thanked me saying that he didnt even know he had lost it as he was working the night shift. I could of cleaned him out! he asked if i could look after it until the morning as he knew it was in safe hands

When he arrived he had a big bottle of Jack Daniels and a box of chocolates for the misses :p

I once found a bag of money in the "Back to the future" ride in Universal LA. We counted $1000! We were dubious about handing it to the kiosk staff but luckily we saw the guys frantically searching for their money and so we handed it to them. They couldn't fookin believe their luck!
