Now i can finally attach pics i would like to know if anybody knows where you can get these neon rear centre panels, it lights up when you turn the lights on. I thought it was different.

BTW no need to do that fancy baking shit, just rotozip the centre near the badge, bang a neon across the 300zx bit, wire it into a switch or lights and you are done! you can fibreglass or epoxy the back cover section on after if you really want to!, I'll even throw in a fre purple 12v neon, lol, not sure if it will fit but it may do!

Some one in the US tried to make them, but the profit level is marginal and quite a few got condensation in them.

 

There is write up on the net on how to make one yourself. You will have to buy an EL sheet and transistor.
