PCV ....... is this secured correctly?

Hi Guys

Had the battery out of my car the other day and thought I'd inspect the condition of the hose coming of the pax side PCV (had them replace a couple of years ago). Well to my surprise, the bit at the end of the hose (opposite end to PCV) that goes into the engine pulls out of the engine really easily. It's only held in place by the stiffness of the rubber hose. Pictures below explain this more clearly.

Is this normal?

Cheers

Jon

it should be a friction fit, there are a few such fittings over the rocker cover. I have noticed and heard of a few of them being loose, the two beside the throttlwe odies are the dangerous ones,if they come loose they can jam your throttle open
