Right guys and gals we've recently had meets in the North, South and West. So to be fair to everyone I thought we'd have the next meet in the east of the region. I was thinking about Peterborough but dont know the area so would be open to suggestions from the guy's in the area for a location. Idealy it will be a pub with a car park large enough for 20ish cars.

I'm heading out of Leicester on the A47 for work tomorrow, so I'll see if there's a good spot to meet up for the convoy, and let you know tomorrow afternoon.

Anyhoo, the only other place I found on my trek out that way today was the Rose and Crown pub at Houghton on the Hill (can't miss it) - other than that, it looks like its the services that Chunk has suggested (personally, I don't know where they are yet though :x: ).

Either for me :D, but will need to know tonight, as I wont be online tomorrow.

Services are about 3ish miles after the Uppingham roundabout. I believe theres a Little Chef and a FINA??? Petrol station in there!

 

Its on the Left hand side of the road, heding towards Peterboro!

There's a Shell garage (with optimax!) very near by on Paxton Road, near the Orton Centre (don't actually go into the Orton Centre unless you've got some sort of weapon handy).

Also, Tescos at Serpentine Green/Hampton is the biggest in Europe and sell anything from a camping kit to big TVs to food etc. It has six restaurants,clothes shops etc etc too. It's only two or three miles away down the A1139.
