Bought my first z 6 months ago, wahay i thought till i changed my mind and decided to get a turbo version.

Got a turbo and "wahey" i thought, "i got a turbo". :hyper:

 

WHAT A 42 CARAT PLONKER !!

 

6 months later and approx £10,000 pounds i am now the proud owner of 2 zeds neither of which work properly !!! :cry:

 

Why didnt i just buy a bmx !!

Bite the bullet and get her totally rebuilt, converted to manual, and new uprated tubs. Surely to god if i do it there cannot be that much more can go wrong ????

Why not buy this this and then you have 3 Zeds :D and a shed loads of parts. Or re sell one and get some money back.

 

If this had come up when I was buying a Zed, I would have snapped his hand off! :D

You can pick up a used replacement engine for under £1k, removal and fitting would be about £500.

£6K sounds just daft (you could buy 2 more Zs for that!)

That does include a manual gearbox conversion and all the upgraded bits for the rebuild and upgraded turbos

i know the feeling :( im creeping ever-so-slightly more into debt cos of my car. just forked out £1k on brand new alloys cos a problem with steering had worn the old'uns out. before that i forked out £1.5k on a manual conversion cos my autobox knackered. before that i forked out £900 on oil leaks, HICAS problem and suspension. why do i keep doing it????
