follow up to step 24

first time I did it it took me a weekend, make sure you have all the tools you need first :)

if you get stuck there are plenty of people here that will help you out, but its pretty straight forward, main thing to remember is to have a system so you remember where all the bolts go back,

thanks for that, thats excellent. should be able to do that, right off to find a water pump and gaskets now then. anyone?!?

courtesy-parts.com or try Ryan in fact (ztech) in trader forum

If I am stripping something for the first time, I find a piece of card to push the bolts thru handy, then you can write on the card where the bolts go

if your going to strip it down, then best to give smithy a call, and replace the two small water pipes and thermostat at same time

would be a shame to put it all back together and find one of these is faulty, for the few quid they cost

dont think smithy does those items bud,try mjp eastern or ryan z-tech,both in the traders section

and yeh agree with the above,i did a waterpump not long ago, straight forward just time consuming finding all the bolts, and having the right tools for all the little jobs, must of went to halfords 10times LMAO

yes,you will need a 6mm long reach allen key, and take off the lower pipe first, it makes it so much easier

either use an allen key on a socket with long extension for sizing just buy a set of bloody long allen keys

as for polished pipes you cant just buy them,if you know a chromer or someone who polishes metal then your laughing they can do it,or do it yourself but i hear its a lot of sweat and work
