Hello,
I feel that I would be a valuable asset to the club, I have been an active member for a number of years now and feel it is now my turn to give something back. I feel that I would be suitable for the role as I currently have adequate spare time to fulfill it, I understand that my personal time will be needed to fulfill the role correctly and I am fully committed to giving it up.
If I am selected as the new membership secretary I plan along with the agenda outlined by AndrewG to:
1) Investigate and initiate ways of bringing in new members to the club.
2) Talk to registered members to see why they have not subscribed fully.
3) Organise a members newsletter which will regularly be e-mailed out.
4) Improve on the existing new and renewal membership packs including -
Proper membership cards
A welcome introduction to the club
A printed version of the FAQs on how to use the clubs forum.
Detailed introductions to all the clubs existing traders.
5) Facilitate a new system for warning users of when their membership is due for renewal.
6) Be an open point of contact for all membership queries.
The 300zx.co.uk club has been a vast resource of information for me, and I understand that this club would not exist without the members and as such I would like to give back by directly helping them.
Best Regards
Mathew Levett (MTL)
