hello dave , hope all is well

Well plodding on mate.

I spend most of my time terrosing other cars in my little CTR :wack: which revs round to 8.5k rpm in no time. But it needs about another 200lbs of torque!! Already looking into superchargers etc !! but skint at the mo :(

Still on my own, clinging onto the house, see my son loads (who hates the CTR and wants me to get an R34 GTR) LOL.

Will pop up to the SE open day, so if you are there, we can catchup!!

Edds.

Any one know any thing about the white one in SE's catalogue

from a mate its suposed to be one of the quickest in the uk???????????

if it is andy's its getting on a bit now - good car for when it was built but mac1 should beat it hands down

Regards,

alex

Well looking at the spec he had back then I would think so too,I still don't like all this lime light on my car though as to what its going to do and what its going to be LOL

Well I hope so!!

From what I remember Andy ran a lary engine setup with 1ltr injectors it sounded awesome when on idle. The last time I saw him he had 335's on the rear to try and keep the traction down. It was a very intimidating car!!

I am not fully versed with maccas setup, but I am hoping for big things. From my conversations with him an poking around, there is something intersting on the horizon.

I see that some of the Supra boys are making wacky HP!! It would be good to see some Zeds up there :)

My zed quite happily trundled upto 180MPH with loads more, there's gotta be some 200+ cars!! as mine at the time was a mederate spec.

I still don't like all this lime light on my car though as to what its going to do and what its going to be LOL

my arse :slap:

Mine, but only just :D

no such thing as just it's over or not :p

on list no.2 proven :D

Well if I ever get all my niggles sorted and run her in. I expect when JD has waved his magic wond over her to see 400+ at the wheels. If not I'll be looking at something else to drive.

  if you do - i think you will struggle to get more than 360 at the wheels on a set of t28 hybrids - not knocking you though bud - still a very impressive spec - the most i ever managed on a set of stage II hybrids was 420 at the fly aprx 360 RWHP.

Disagree there alex if Mark has a T28 Hybrid it would all depend on what parts they have used from other turbo designs to make the hybrid part , I would have been suprised if your car had got much more than 360RWHP on stage two hybrids as these are typically a T22-25 with just a larger comp wheel

No i disagee

the turbo dynamics stage II T28 hybrid is a GT25 roller bearring turbo in a .64 a/r housing with the T28 60 trim compressor wheel.

and i still maintain if anyone gets over 360RWHP with that turbo i will seriously shake their hand because there was nothing more than i could do with it and i blew my engine trying

p.s i'm not knocking it - 420 at the fly is a seriously impresisve figure - especially since i was getting positive pressure in the manifolds at 1,800 rpm.

i just think that this is the limit. my spec at the time was 555's alu flywheel, vernier cam pulleys, alu lower drive pulley.

alex

mine's going to run stock T28 , we will soon see

Russ your T28s are not the same bud;)

a full TB2808 will run at 525-575 at the fly at 2 bar with other mods

fingers crossed for you matey
