I posted looking for sponsors a few days ago and to my surprise had 76 views 1 reply and No sponsors.

Last a few people on the 300zx site kindly donated and a member called Cos and i completed the event.We collectively raised £1235 for children in a hospital ward with cancer.The money has gone for providing the children with the extra facilities that their individual condition requires.

I have rebuilt a 300ZXTT from the block up and installed the rebuilt engine.

consequently i have lots of engine spares which i will be selling on the for sale section next week all proceeds to the above charity.Please look out for this.

Beamer. Its a bit difficult to sponcer you on here as too be honest no one knows you. If it was me looking for sponcership I would approach the committee of the club with your idea and package.

 

If you where to go through this process you would primarily look more professional, we would then as a group have more idea that your for real, the exact specifics of what your trying to achieve.

I sponsored you last time, but I think that Cos (who we all know) was canvassing for the contributions. I must admit that I missed your post this time around :(

Hi Guys,

First of all thankyou to all of you that sponsored Cos for the same cause last year.Unfortunately Cos cant make it this year and having met Cos who raced in 1 of my teams i found him a top bloke I started the thread originally since i am pleased to say I am the Organiser of the race event.

I invited all of you guys to form a team and race but unfortunately you couldnt.

The reason you dont know me is i bought a zed a few years ago rebuilt the engine and

some bodywork posted my findings The car drives like a dream helped a few on the forum with telephone advice and now enjoy driving the Z.

Ill go now since ill be racing flat out in a Go Kart for some 5 hrs in 13 hrs time but before i do i would like to thank Jeff TT who before this posting i never Knew.He has donated a fantastic £100 to this cause and having spoke to him to thank him last night

said he would try to raise more.

Jeffs donation will earn the team bonus charity laps.

Anyone wondering what the event is about and perhaps wanting to form a team &r race in a 12 hr endurance race for charity this summer can e mail me applications after this weekend.

Sorry if my first post made you all sceptical but unfortunately the only two people i have met off the forum is Cos and Steve E .

Im pleased to report our team came second 1040m behind the winners, perhaps with more notice next year you might enter a team but this failed last year despite posting details of the event early.

Hi everyone - I'd just lidke to say that Beamer 2 is as legit as they come.

 

I had the pleasure, or pain of taking part in the 24hr go-karting last year and belive me, after the first 12 hours, it was a struggle to stay awake, that is until you got in to the kart for another 45 minutes of adrenaline.

 

Mike, apologies for not having got back to you. I would have loved to join you for the official handing over of the cheque but I have been busy christening my youngest.

 

I'll sponsor you £20 for your next venture. I would have loved to join you but I am about to start a new job and I have a very busy year ahead but let me know for 2006, I should be up for it. At least till then, my brused ribs and sprained thumb will have healed.
