March 16, 200521 yr got a j-spec twin turbo that is developing a propshaft vibration. seems to be worse when cold. is the prop center bearing still available and is it the same part as uk spec cars? where do i get them, nissan? or does someone else do them. May have a bash myself. HAS ANYBODY TRIED USING A ONE PIECE PROP TO ELIMINATE THE PROBLEM ALTOGETHER
March 16, 200521 yr um, you already asked that this morning http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=46410 ?
March 16, 200521 yr Colin Prop Shafts are a hassle. Don't use a one piece prop as there is a problem to do with the weight of the revolving bits. You can get prop shaft centre bearing for about ยฃ120, but while you have the prop shaft off, take it to get serviced and balanced. It's not a difficult job if you have a ramp, If you don't, don't even try it
March 16, 200521 yr mine is in at nissan a week thursday ยฃ275 for the bearing fitted which i thought was quite resonable
