as above...lookin to import single item...fairly small....usually get away without paying it but if made to pay then what would i expect to fork out?

Depends on what it is and what the Commodity Code on it is (found in the HMC&E Tariff).

 

That'll give you the % of duty payable on it, then you have to add the VAT on the cost of the goods + duty + shipping.
