I AM NEW TO THIS SITE BUT HAVE OWNED A 300ZX FOR YEARS LAST TIME I LOOKED AT THIS SITE THE THREADS WERE ANCIENT NO NEW MEMBERS, BUT NOW ITS PICKING UP.I HAVE SOLD AND BOUGHT BITS AND PIECES FOR THE 300ZX ON EBAY AND THATS HOW I MET LEGRATH, HE WON 2 S/S EXAUSTS I AVERTISED, HOPE YOUR HAPPY WITH THEM LEGRATH HE ASKED ME TO POST THIS THREAD SAYING HI SO HERE IT IS. I AM ALSO THINKING VERY SERIOUSLY ABOUT GETTING 18" rear alloys 9.5j/18 suited with ZR 265/40/18

18" fronts 8.5j/18 suited with ZR 245/35/18 WOULD THIS BE RIGHT FOR MY 92 J REG NON TURBO 300ZX? AND DOES ANYBODY KNOW OF A DECENT TYRE THAT GRIPS WELL IN WET? ALSO LOOKING AT A HID KIT WITH BULBS FOR £250 AS THE LIGHTS ON THE ZX'S ARE RUBBISH AT NIGHT EVEN AFTER BUYING THE BEST BULBS, HAS ANYBODY DONE THIS AND HOW MUCH IMPROVEMENT IS THEIR? WAS THE KIT WORTH THE MONEY?CHEERS!! :duffer:

Not sure about the wheels but the HIDs are the dogs danglies (I have a set), have a look in the traders section on here, get greddy do them for about that price.

Hi mate, get greddy is where i have seen the set, as for the caps lock thing somebody has already pointed it out, and thanks for the reply might order a kit as the only time people can over take me is at night as visibility is poor and i have to slow down.

There used to be an issue with the Forum, where unless you were registered you did not see all the new threads, just the archived stuff. I think this was putting off a lot of people, not realised how thriving the site was.

 

I'd highly recomend Goodyear F1 tyres for the Zed, as Im sure many others will, for both Wet and Dry weather.

 

I believe Outlander Motorsport and GetGreddy can offer HID kits.
