Anyone use Suprnova for downloading music etc, is it worth it or a waste of time. I pay 5 quid a month for http://www.easynews.com for 6 gig/month but recently I have been using torrent sites.

Any input welcome

You're a bit out of date there mate, Suprnova.org has long gone, as have lots of other Bittorrent sites due to threatened legal action.

It was great while it lasted though, according to a mate ;-/

Anyway, http://thepiratebay.org is still going, with loads on there. They are in Sweden and simply refuse to be shut down by the American Music industry.

Exeem (not exceem which is a rip off) supposedly replaced suprnova, but I have talked to a couple of people down the pub who haven't had much luck with it.

Other torrent sites:

http://www.novatina.com/

http://www.snarf-it.org/

But beware if you bittorrent properly, you upload as well as download, which usually adds to your monthly ISP limit.

Cheers for that, I only usually have pc downloading/uploading for the length of the download, then usually i go offline. I use novatina and mesi-torrent just now, but obviously I need to get with the times of all this downloading malarkie.

Cheers again John Crisp
