What is the best way to get the best tyre pressures for after market wheels?

I cant seen to get good traction in my Z and I think that the tyre pressures may be wrong.

What is the best way to find the optimal tyre pressure?

the correct pressure can also be down to personal preference. What sizes do u have now and what pressures do u run ?

I've seen +2psi above stock for each 1" increase in wheel size, as a standard rule.

I have 235/40/17 fronts and, 255/40/17 rears.

I think I am running 36 all round as, so far, that has given best results.

when are you breaking traction?

Errrr, Virtually all the time.

2200(ish)rpm in 2nd when flooring it.

1st gear I cant accelerate more than 50% or so on the throttle with out it losing traction.

When pulling out of corners with a little haist, causes the back end to come out.

I got Bridgestone SO3 tyres which are meant to be the best you can get for the road. The S02 where amazing, but these are disappointing.

But it maybe some down to the more power the car is pushing now.

2200rpm in 2nd....before the turbo's spool up

Im also running 36 on the rear, and experimenting between 32 and 34 on the front.
