"your eyes are like spanners, every time you look at me my nuts tighten"

Normally to pist to say anything, so I guess a smile and random mumble does the trick ;)

Unless she is a lesbian i am in no rush !! :nono: :D :D

Doesn't a lesdian prefer Sex with women instead of men?

Sh1t I must be a lesbian too.

second that!

I'm a lesbian trapped in a mans body

On the workplace thing, this is me at work (on a Ducati 749 at Spain's Almeria circuit).

hmmm bikes, Cambs.... do the letters EMAP mean anything to you?

Yep - it's not as good as you might think though. Pros and cons, like any job. About the best thing is it sounds good when you tell people.

...it's not as good as you might think though.

I know exactly how good it is :D ;) The biggest ever expense bill I had was taking a bunch of journos out to a very pissed dinner at the IoM hahahaha :hurl:

The glory days (of about 1994) are gone, mainly thanks to parallel imports.

Sadly I didn't get into it till after then and everything's run by accountants now so there's less obscene spending ande excess.

On one press launch in '94 the manufacturer provided girls for everyone. Apparently the Brits were too shy to accept but the Italians were straight in and took two each to their rooms right away.

Blimey, I must be old - back in the '80s we were saying "it's not as good as it used to be, the glory days have gone now...."

Now then, let's see - I got in just after the Z1300 ("like riding a block of flats"), launched the GPX600 (IIRC), ZX-10, ZXR-750, ZZR-1100, fell off a lot of jetskis, had a major row with dickhead arseholes and buggered off to Alan Sugar. Hey ho, happy days :D

Cool. THAT ZX10 was a proper bike - three times the size of the new one and needed three times as big balls to ride it properly. Did you work for Kawasaki?

This must be the MOST hijacked thread in the world!!

No no really here's where I (used to) work

and yes, mate, it was Kawasaki I used to work for.

Are you with a particular mag or general emap-ness?

On RiDE currently.

That looks like the ZXR750H1 (as distinct from the H2 by having black mirrors, no graphic on the front pannel and a near unmodifed GPX750R engine)?

Late '88 or early 89, Estoril?

On RiDE currently.

Yep that's right. Deffo Estoril but can't place the exact date. The first ZXR750. If you look at the leftmost ZXR in the pic, you'll see a green / white / red colour scheme. That was for the French endurance team.

I can't for the life of me remember for sure who we took from the UK. Chris Dabbs was there and this might have been the one where Tim Thompson nearly missed the plane.

I didnt know you where a biker Gio  I had an old exup that was pre owned by emap. The bloody thing was stock but dynoed at 146rwhp!!!!!!!!

Nice to know that manufacturers dont fiddle with press bikes:D

I didnt know you where a biker Gio

I wouldn't exactly say that, Roy - after my laps round Estoril, Team Green came over and said "would you like to know your time" "ooh yes please" I said, "one inch on the sundial" they announced

Pmsl
