ive got the hks set up on my Z, seems fairly quiet ?

 

in comparison to my evo, supra etc, can anyone else who has it fitted tell me how loud it should be ? im wondering if a diaphram has gone or something ?

I have these,seem loud enough to me,then again some others seem louder than mine,and being an older statesman dont want to much noise anyways :D someone somewhere a while back told me you can adjust them for noise not sure tho,Tony :)

thanks tony, thats helpful, I think I will investigate further, as mine really is just a sharp chatter on gear changes, rather than the big whoosh like im used to with other hks blow off valves, thanks bud

hi,

from what i have heard and what my experience is, is that the higher the boost the loader they are, due to having to get rid of more pressure.

 

i think thats right not hundered percent though, im sure there are alot of people on here that will know, ask baggins, luke and people like that mate.

If you have the proper sequential 1's then you can change the inserts for loudness, I think the purple inserts are the loudest !!!
