right then basically I purchased two Ashley 5" back boxes. which were £100 each. this was last Wednesday Now as far as what I can remember the tips on the exhausts I read somewhere were S/S...?? I even phoned ashley to confirm this.

But I didnt think much about it and was quite happy with them as they sound great.

This was 6 days ago.

Theyve fecking got rust marks already little dots of rust.

Im not happy! :smash:

So my question is before I phone the Performance place and give them there last rights!

Have I actually got a leg to stand on!

Even if Im wrong which Im gonna make sure I am or am not before I phone dont worry, surely even if they are chrome tips. Blumin 6 days is unacceptabe!

for £100 back boxes each then fitting...from a reputable company :nono:

I know how to deal with the matter but throw your ideas at me anyway as the receipt just says two back boxes on it at £200.

but obviously at the time I didnt think anything of it!

thanks

chris

Sales of goods act,

If an item is faulty, the the purchaser can take them back in reasonable time, and the firm/company should Repair or replace said items.

Hope this helps bud :D

Stainless steel comes in different qualitys and mixtures. The cheaper stuff has a high percentage of normal steel in it - rather like cheap kitchen knives that get rust spots!

Still I can imagine the annoyance!

Simon.

Just wondering, have u tried 2 rub the marks off? Sounds silly but things could stck 2 them that rust so I would check that b4 anything else!

It scratches so easily mate its unbelievable so you couldnt rub any marks of anyway? Still can go back I should have gone to longlif ein the first place
