hi all, im in a massive massive massive ultimatum,

 

me and my lass had a hell of a fight last night and she said "ME OR THE CAR" I couldnt beleive what she was saying, we dont have kids were not marrid, we dont live together, but we have been together for 4 yrs. I am so stunned even now that she has asked this, what do i do??????????????/

 

i love her and all that BUT..................... this is the 300zx she is asking me to get rid of..........

we had a huge talk last night about it and i said to her that who does she think she is giveing ME an ultamatum, i said i could understand if it was about another women but its not, and like most of you said its a hobby...............

 

after about 2 hrs of intence talking she finally come around to the idea that its not all bad, what would you rather be picked up in or be driven round in a 300 with the roof off in the summer or a normal day to day car. i think it hit home then.........

 

she does love the ZED deep at heart, i just think she feels left out coz we dont get much time together me been away alot and her in london at UNI 5 days a week...... So i have decided to only work on my car when she's ot here and always have it ready for when i see her so in that way, i'm pleaseing both of us at the same time....

im glad to say ive not been in this position (yet :eek: ). sounds nasty mate. truth is i had the Z before i met my missus and she respects the car (and likes it too - thank god!) But i always try to keep a balance between spending time and cash on the Z and on the missus.

Besides the Zed, I'm in a band, do lots of mountain biking, and work's really busy right now, so there are quite a lot of late nights.

 

Thank the Lord, she's busy doing a part-time degree while holding her job at the same time- that way we're both busy all the time- avoids conflict but not necessarily too healthy either!!!

had the same ultimatum in 2001 from a girl i was seeing,i kept the car she went.

she was on the phone an hour later crying apologies etc ,i still got rid of her .

So many time i see men in this situation, over a bird and a car or bike...

 

Mate, its an easy answer, you have to take the bull by the horns, tell her you love her, and cant stand to see her leave you over a car, so you will be in the garage until she ****s off...........

 

Seriously dude, give in to her now, and she has you by the *****x for life...stand up for yourself, if she wants you, then she will accept the car, if she dont, then better you find out now, and with a zed, you can always get another bird...with this bird, you will never get another zed

I'd be seriously shocked if a woman ever told me to get rid of a car! I know they like to be controlling and all that...but that's taking it a bit far. Maybe with a family it would be a slightly different story....
