hi all, im in a massive massive massive ultimatum,

 

me and my lass had a hell of a fight last night and she said "ME OR THE CAR" I couldnt beleive what she was saying, we dont have kids were not marrid, we dont live together, but we have been together for 4 yrs. I am so stunned even now that she has asked this, what do i do??????????????/

 

i love her and all that BUT..................... this is the 300zx she is asking me to get rid of..........

My missus tried that one and were married with a kid......I packed my stuff n got ready to leave,

She then realised I'm gonna choose Z everytime so she came back to reality and asked me to stay.

Think she just wanted more attention so it wasnt bout the Z really.

i will show her more attention, its just that i have been spending loads of £££ on the car ready for the shows and nothing on her, might take her away sum were for the week end, how does RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG SOUND like, thats a fun week end out lol.... well for me any way,

My wifes train of thought has run along these lines . so now i envolve her in everything to do with my hobbies not just the car. That soon put a stop to it. the more she moaned the more of her time was spent in garages and zoo's. now she values her time away from these things and does not wish to be any more engaged in my activities. It also helped buying her a new kitchen, car and log cabin :smash:

yeah mate, seriously, its not about the car, its probably about her trying to control and manipulate you,

 

i've grown up to believe the people who give you ultimatums are the people you walk away from.

Doing the "car or me" thing (or hi-fi or me, or anything else or me) is only a symptom, not the cause. Try to work out why the ultimatum got issued in the first place and the " x or me" will disappear.

Mate no one here can answer your question, no one knows your missus. She could be a angel or a wrongun. You could be taking and angel for granted and shes had enough. She could be envious of you giving somehting else attention and she couldnt care less if it was another woman or a car or a hobbie, its just not her getting it.

she is an angel really and she has put up with me and my job, as you all know im a body guard and i go away alot to hostile places, shes at home worrying her head off, and i come back every few months and blow my dosh on the car, wrong in some cases but right in others.

she's in her last yr of UNI to become a nurse, so she's always skint, i normally give her about an extra 50 quid here and there to help her out, but thats nothing when im on 200 quid a day.......

Otherwise they get bored! Saying that, my first marriage went down the pan 'cos of me racing motocross, spending all week stripping/cleaning

then rebuilding the bike, only to have to do it all again the following

week! She just didn't like being a bike widow!

childish (imo), but i dont know your situation?
