you forget Velour. Phase 2, 3, 4 ..etc did'nt have Tweed, but Velour instead.

I went from Tweed to Leather. Transforms the Interior, especially when u replace all the panels too.

Any car that cost over £25k new should have leather IMO....and with zed being just shy of £40k new, tweed is very very wrong :nono: :hurl:

Yeh me got velour

Hi,

I've had leather on my last 2 zed's, but as nice as it looks i have memories of my first one which had tweed and i think it held me in place better on cornering..........maybe i'm getting fatter...

Tweed, but I do intend to get it changed some day. Its the only thing about my Z that i'm not keen on :smash:

I've got OEM UK leather now, changed it from JDM tweed, wouldn't go back. Much better, and you can always wipe stains and spills up more easily :D

Tweed or velour for me. I've never liked leather (too cold and shows its age too easily).

I would consider a suede or alcantara retrim though........£££ KER'CHING £££!!!

If you dont go for Leather, then velour / Alcantara as we know it.....very

its got to be leather

tweed looks so old and dated. in any new car now over £15+ you get leather now looks more classy

are you asking who HAS leather/tweed, or what do they prefer?!?!

who the f*** would want tweed??? :D

Leather definately..............I agree with Dave about the stains ......lol

Standard series five ( :hyper: ) velour.

I do like leather but it can be cold and sometimes doesn't age well.

Sounds like my Jackie.A good ironing and she's as good as new.You cant do that with wrinkled and cracked leather seats. But I would like magnolia leather one day in place of my tweed.

What? Do you mean, give the ironing to do?/.............Oooooooooo you'll have all the feminists on your back now ;) :D (Ooo, err misses ;) )

err half and half at the mo! uk spec leather with replacement rear seats cos some numpty spilt oil on em and it wouldnt come off! :( but that just gives me an excuse to retrim - black and silver vinyl first to learn how to do it and then leather.

**** payin £££s for someone else to do it!

Tweed at the mo, but I'll be ditching it for leather as soon as I have the money spare after I've done everything else that need doing!

Personally I'll be sorting my car out in order: performance, exterior looks, interior looks.

I have standard Series IV UK leather and alcantara. I've had the drivers seat suport bolsters replaced where the leather began to crack and she looks quite new inside (some i've seen looks like Elephants have been living in there) However when I've eventually got the exterior finished I'm going to have the interior retrimed in cream and navyblue leather. With contrasting piping.
