Just like to say hello, im new to Z's

 

Searched long and hard and have found myself a nice swb tt manual targa in black, the car has exhausts, afr, boost control, a few guages, induction and dump valve, running max 1 bar, rolling road printout here says 309 @ wheels at 1 bar.

 

Done by some firm in manchester, 1 uk owner for last 3.5 years.

 

G reddy body kit and 18" rims.

 

Paid 6450 for this beast full mega history, grade 5 car, 52k miles.

 

nice to meet you all fella's, any hints tips or advice appreciated.

ahhhhhhhh superb, that looks AWESOME, mine looks a BIT different with the g-reddy body kit, atleast thats what he said it was, not as mint as yours but she will be shortly, lovely wheels on yours aswell, I am just about to buy a new set of 18's but my budget is 800 quid.

Welcome to the forum. SWB, TT, manual, black, the best choice m8, sounds like you got a good deal with all the mods you listed. I run 325 at wheels at 1 bar with chip, filter, decat.

You will have to post some pics of your zed for us all to see.

lads, Ive had gto's, escort cossie, evo 4, P1, m3 evo, tt supra (420bhp) loads of fast cars and the ZX has got some grunt around the 100mph mark, very impressed with the smooth delivery and all you really need to do is short shift through the gears and your flying :)

Price depends on what you wanted to pay mate, we all say our Zeds are worth more cos they are ours :D

What yr is she ?? the milage is low enough, have the belts been changed that you know of ?

Also got to take in to consideration the Mods that have been done, have they been done well :cool:

Mine is a 1993 K plate but i have changed the reg ;) i paid £6k for mine standard and the rest is history :D so to speak.

So the value is put on by you and how much you are willing to pay bud :D

Yes the mods have been done real well, its had the oil changed every 3k.

 

gearbox oils, everything full belts service been done new clutch done,

 

Hks afr

Hks dual solenoid control

Blitz gauges

nismo uk clocks

hks blow offs

hks filters

specially made short pipes £300

not sure what back boxes they are but £480 blitz or hks I think

 

runs like a clock, not a spot of oil anywhere, water system is perfect, had new water pump and time of all belts being done and nissan parts used.

 

all new discs and pads, but they are not really up to the job :)

 

I am gonna spend 2k minting it up i think.

I nearly bought that car but just couldnt get up there to get it but its a nice car and the last owner really looked after it so got yourself a good one there

 

One thing though its got a wingswest kit on not greddy but thats not a bad thing as the wingswest is about the best kit for the zed ;)

 

Nice car though and it looks like back to the drawing board for me :)

don't bank on limiting what you spend on mods ;) i'm on 2k so far and only meant to spend a few hundred on it! :eek:

skyline dave thanks bro, im well versed in throwing money at jap cars LOL, 9k on my supra, 9k on my evo, lucky for me this one is mostly done :mac1:

 

kirbz, he did mention that somone from the club was interested, it was a real hassle getting it off him as he had a private plate on and I wanted to take it away there and then, and then there was no |Mot so we had to go and test it before we could get the plate off.

 

got there in the end though :D
