Miss Fireing at 2000 revs

I have just installed my TC and also I took my batery off when I did it so the ECU is reset. The Idle has been going up and down all day, between 500 and 750, going up then down up and down at lights because of the ECU reset. But normal speed in 3rd, foot close to the floor get to about 2000 rmp and the car starts mis firing. Is that the RC cos, I wasnt spinning. Could it be my dodge soldering on the ASB?

Any suggestions?

Does it do the same with the TC turned off and does it do the same if you bypass the TC box between the ECU and the injectors (eg. unplug it and return it to standard - you did use the plus right ?)

I just finished Tims and it worked first time, did turn out that the config was set wrongly though and I had to correct it.

Hmm. I used the plugs slightly wrong. I will have to make a Gender Bender socket for it. Err. Its only happened once. But every now and then it misfires it or hesitates for a split second. Its doesnt happen that often to be able to test with out TC on.

I noticed with mine after I installed TC that it doesn't start as cleanly as it used it. There is a slight stumble when first started, possibly one or two fires, but apart from that no problem. Incidently, Tims does not do this.

Check you're config is correct.

How do I check the config?

The wriring at the front is correct, the ABS soldering was difficult, not the tidyest but its on. Its not done it for a while. But I do know that my car it a GIT when I disconnect the battery and reset the ECU.

I ran the config and the LED flashes with the wheels and the RPM as usual and jacking up the back the car misfires at about 2000rpm which is about 10mph in first, which is right.

Could it just be steeling in? Doubt it but im open to suggestion.

P.S. Thanks for your help Andy

Didn't know what you meant by :-

But I do know that my car it a GIT when I disconnect the battery and reset the ECU.

But anyway. Check the config using a laptop on the RS232 port. It's documented in the instructions.

Cos the ECU is reset my idle moves from 500 to 1000 at lights, acceleration is not smooth, because the car is learning. After a few hundred miles its back to normal.
