Macca, have you got your entry done for TOTB this year ??? http://www.totb.co.uk/compete/

Entries will be accepted from February 2005, with a closing date for all forms on 3rd July 2005.

It would be good to see your car and maybe 1 or 2 other proven big power Z's representing the 300zx.co.uk Club. Just to put the Z on the map so to speak....

WHAT other big power Zeds? Macca's the only one!

Good luck Macca!

Depending on how my Z is doing, i might be entering the 2006 TOTB!! ;)

He probably is Roy, But I am sure that there are gonna be a few other Contenders, I am sure that Jaffa in his SWB will be down in to the 11 second bracket after a few more mods, he already ran a 12.6 without Intercooler, Bigger Injectors, Underdrive pulley fit, Lightened flywheel, Race Fuel etc etc

Strip out a SWB without a bodykit and do those mentioned mods and he will have a flyer. Kirbz's old car could be interesting too if the person that now owns it puts different turbos on and theres the question of SRAE's car ??? he has all the right bits to go for it too IMHO.

russ and cj also have interesting project cars coming along :)

and smw1'swill hopefully be done soon

I really do not know what 1/4 mile times my car will throw out! But what I will say it will have fantastic mid range power and the top speed runs should be up there with anyone competing, lets hope my carbon fiber tailgate is built on time as my rear wing will knock a few miles of my top speed runs.

PS anyone felt the weight of a Z tailgate? LOL

Yes, the back of my head did the other day when the tailgate slammed into it ... Bloody gas struts are useless in cold weather and I suppose my water-logged standard TT spoiler doesn't help matters either. ;)

All the best,

Dan

I will put my money on Russ to have the fastest 0-60 300zx in the UK.

Russ you should go full DTA Engine managment too;)

Are you having a go in your Skyline Allan?

Nah, not me mate, not enough power. I get my car back from RB Motorsport (Rod Bell) later on today and it now has 450bhp reliably at the wheels approx 510bhp at the Fly, that is enough for me as I still wanna drive my car everyday. My car would look rather feeble compared to the 10 member team that the GTR Forum are putting together the cars they are gonna be entering range from 600+bhp up to 1000bhp. However, when I replace my stock tubbies next year Rod Bell has reccomended some turbos for my car and tells me I will be in the realms of 600-620bhp. Maybe enter next year, but this year I will be just spectating.

Good man Mac.

I was TOTB last night on Sky and some crappy Maestro made it into the final of the drag race and the Supra seemed to break it's gearbox in the semi.

Let them see what the 300 can do!

Yup, had to carry mine on me back from the car to the paint shop the other week!

NOT LIGHT! :)

Nice one MAC. I'll be there as a spectator so i'm looking forward to it.

I would have no chance of winning anything, I just don't know how fussy the organisers are about entrants Specifications and proven BHP ??? I gotta say my liner was in Schweeeet form today when I made the 3hr drive back home from Wigan from Rod Bells. Lets just say I smiled all the way home. Do you really think I would be accepted for TOTB ???

I can't see why not, there was a Maestro there last year kicking a Supras arse

Mac, you said at Mascrat when you were going for qualifying, when was it again? end of March?

That Maestro there was effing quick, it is the fastest proven Front wheel drive in the UK and thats a fact. This is why I am reluctant to try and enter my car bacause it is about the cream of the crop in the UK...
