had my s14 for a week now and have to say its a nice car to drive, easier to slide than the zed. but it falls short at higher speeds the suspension just does not seem as competent . i just can't wait to get mine back. think the s14 would be quicker on a tight country road, but anything else it would loose to a zed, the only nissan with worse brakes then the 300 :headvswal

Russ many years ago I had a S13 was only 2 years old when I bought it and from what you telling me about the S14 don't sound like it has changed that much.

very good car all the same.

Yeah but lets face it, S13 and S14's are nice cars but they aren't a 300 and never could be!!

I test drove both before i bought my 300 and i have  to admit that they were a nice drive but the 300 was the better of the t :) hree

Sorry no contest for me :nelson:

I had a bit of a race with an S14 in my RX, was amazed how quick it was - neck and neck to about 130 then I pulled away, and I was running with uprated boost so I imagine it was a modded S14?

If you follow your heart, it's got to be the Zed. :D

If you follow your wallet however (or purse!) then I reckon the s14 wins...

My older brother has an s14 but prefers to get behind the wheel of my 300. S14`s are the little sisters of the mighty Zed.

(no offence to little sisters)

S14's anywhere near standard are a very "soft" car, but it takes very little time and money to turn them into a much more focused car, sorted suspension / brakes and 250 bhp/tonne are quite easily achievable and then its lots of smiles.......

I love 300's and toyed with the idea of getting one........ but the S14 is just such good value for what it is even if it isnt the car a 300 is, if I stacked a mint 300 on a track I think I would be more than a little sad :(

Quite a few of us from the sxoc are at silverstone on tuesday 29th March, £180 for 30 mins on 30 mins off all day :) See:

You can then compare the cars directly in the perfect place, cars running will be from 200 bhp to 400 + bhp :)

interesting. Can't access the link, can you give us more details - could be tempted :D

Well, i've had about 5 s13's, am fixing an s14 next for myself, and looking at getting a ZX by about summer time.

Dont think you can compare the 200's to the 300, totally different cars imo. I love the look of the ZX, and it was only the price of the 200's that made me get them. But i think the ZX calls............

Did not think you could get a driving licence when only 2 years old

Using the full GP track and if anything too much track time it should be a very :) day. It would be cool to see some 300's on track, I've never seen any in action yet..........
